As a rule, we try to keep Madison busy, but most of the time she is with mom and dad. She does have activities with her friends at school but she is so shy and we need her to learn that she can do it without mom and dad helping her and letting someone else show her how to do it. This weekend we started her in a gymnastics class. We arrived early to get her used to her surroundings before everybody showed up.

It took her a bit but eventually she gave in to the teachers demands.
Due to not wanting to blind the other gymnasts, new parents were requested to turn the flashes off on their cameras. Not having the flash made for blurry pictures. This is as clear as we could get them and she was so far away.

There was one other activity they did but none of those pictures turned out. This allowed her to fall into a "pool" of foam blocks! I think that was her favorite activity of the day. She shared with us that she was the "shark" of the pool!
Saturday was a very busy day for our little girl. Gymnastics, grocery shopping, nap and then going to visit with her friend Emma. We dropped her off for a playdate while Jeff and I had date night! Emma's mom had all kinds of fun planned for the girls. As a nervous mom, I'm always checking my phone to make sure all is doing okay. After the movie, I check my phone and this is the message I get...
"They are having a blast!" with this picture attached...
I think Madison was having a great time. Since we have been given this information, it made us more comfortable to know we could enjoy dinner. And that we did...
With all that running around on Saturday, we took it easy on Sunday. I've started redoing the guest bedroom and continued to work on that, while Jeff went to get the new mattress for that room! It's more a "grandparent room" than a guest room. SO...this is our gift to Grandma/Grandpa and Nana/Papa.
Happy Grandparents Day, wait until you see what we've done to your room!
Love To All!!!
