Mother Nature has been playing a cruel game with us over the past few weeks. She has peppered our days with ice, rain, and frigid temperatures...sometimes snow!!! So bad, Madison missed ANOTHER day of school this week!!
A couple of weeks ago she gave us perfect weather both days over the weekend. That said, we were able to take advantage of that beautiful weather. ROAD TRIP!!!!
We got out and enjoyed a day at the beach!

J&T: "Now Madison, when we get to the beach are we going to go swimming?
M: "No."
J&T: "And why aren't we going swimming today?"
M: "Because it's too cold. I'm just going to get my feet wet."
Famous last words!!! Will have to keep that in mind for the next time we go to the beach. A change of clothes is a must for us. I don't think we HAVE EVER gone to the beach, no matter the weather, that she has ONLY puts her feet in the water.
That same day, I put my feet in the water and there is NO WAY I would have got wet. At one point, Madison's feet were beet red from the cold but yet she continued to play on! She is a hard core beach fanatic.
