First Week of Spring Break

"What was the best part of your weekend?" I asked Madison as we are leaving Northern Virginia.

"All of it!!!"

Spring Break track out has been chocked full and we're only finished with the first week!

Nana and Papa came in last Sunday to watch Madison for the first few day of her break. From baking cookies to train rides, they stayed pretty busy.

I Love Chocolate Chips!!!

Riding the train

A trip to the zoo with her neighborhood friends on Wednesday gave Nana and Papa time to rest up for the weekend.

Madison's trip started Thursday morning with Nana & Papa. Jeff and I made the trip that evening.

We're on our way!!!

Friday was a bit of a free day giving the cousins time to play without a lot of others around.

Reading and hanging out

Making an early lunch
No trip to Target is complete w/o an ICEE
There was still lots to do for the party but with so little time over the weekend to squeeze in a visit with Uncle Gregg and Uncle Andy.  My little social butterfly spent time with old friends and met a new friend, Quinn.

Uncle Andy's Pizzas were good but LOVE the cupcakes

While we were out visiting Uncle Gregg, friends of the Fairfax Station Sanford's snuck in with their two children, Ella and Evan.  Excited to meet new friends, Madison was the first to wake on Saturday.

Our day began quickly and was full of activities before the party at 2pm. The children were very good at helping with the set up.

---------------  Happy Easter!!!  ----------------------

And the fun continued on Sunday, Easter Sunday and Parker's real birthday.  The Easter Bunny came for his visit while the children were at church. He left beautiful baskets FULL of goodies.  Eggs dotted the lawn and kept the children busy for only a moment.  The best part was checking out what was in each and every egg!
