To beach or not to beach?

That was the question of the weekend. 

Its the weekend before leaving for Disney AND the weather forecast for the weekend was HORRIBLE!  

It would have been a pass under any other circumstance and we would have stayed home BUT we couldn't pass up spending time with cousins!!!

The moment we walked in the door it was like they hadn't skipped a beat. The first round of games had begun.  Check out those waves in the back ground!

When staying at the beach, we always get up early to watch the sunrise.  That was NOT going to happen this trip.

With a brief break in the rain, it was time to take a walk on the beach.

That afternoon Mackenzie wrote and produced a play.  Her dad co-produced and helped the play come to life.  Check out the video (remember you have to go to the website to see the video).

There was that possibility of seeing the sun on Sunday...but it was very short lived during the morning while we were there.

Again, Madison couldn't wait to put her feet in the water and the water couldn't wait to grab her by the feet!  But just splashing her was good enough.

Time went very quick this weekend.  Miller and Bonny could almost run a bed and breakfast.  Two groups out, one group in.  Luckily we were all able to spend a little time with Mike and Patty before getting on the road.
