I would have never really thought of myself as a birdwatcher. I mean I watch the birds on the bird feeder out back and I like to identify ones that I see that I've not seen before. Well...last weekend I just happen to see a few Cedar Waxwings sitting in one of our trees out front! I know it may not mean a lot to most people, but I've ALWAYS wanted to see one and not only did I see one my tree out front was FULL of them! The greatest things is that they have been around all week and just this morning they were drinking out of the bird bath out by the birdfeeder and here on the deck...DOZENS of them!!! Don't know how long they plan on staying around but I'm keeping my eye on them and really enjoying them being here.
