Happy trails...

As many of you have probably already realized, there isn't much that Madison fears (except to have to say hi to a stranger...which is good!).  Well, last week while shopping in Target, I came across what I thought was a good deal.  Something to add to her list of activities.  We have been looking at bike trailers for about a year now (not hard core looking, but looking) and I was in shopping, after we put Madison to bed, strolling around just looking at all the different stuff I don't usually get to look at when I have a three year old and a forty two year old with me!  I spotted  the clearance rack in the bike section.  Here they had the bike trailers we had been watching.  There were quite a few of the inexpensive ones there but as I continued to look, I noticed they had the model we had been watching.  Now the price tag said the original price was $159.99, and for that particular model that was true, and they had it marked down to $78.99.  Still not a great price but it was almost half and we had been wanting one.  So, I throw the big box on my cart and made my way to the register.  Well, I get there and the bike trailer rings up as $38.99!!!  You can imagine how tickled I was (and how quickly I left the store just in case it was a mistake!)!!!!!  Late night shopping DOES have its benefits!  We put it together over the weekend and Madison was sitting in it, waiting for her ride, before I had even put the tires on.  She was so very excited and couldn't wait to go for a ride.

Faster daddy, faster...
Sunday morning the "Self portrait artist bug" bit her.  This is just one the few she took of herself and me!  I've never seen anyone crack up at pictures of themselves like she does.  She will make a goofy face, take a picture, look at it, laugh, and then try to take an even more funny looking picture!

Grumpfish
Daddy's helper got to help a lot this weekend.  Here, Jeff is replacing a couple of vinyl tiles in our kitchen with a little help from the smallest member of our crew!

You gotta hit it down like this...
We have a busy week ahead of us.  Jeff and I are preparing for Nana and Papa's visit mid-week for a few days.  Madison is so VERY excited about them coming and the fact that there might be a visit to the beach in the very near future.  Nana/Papa, See you real soon and drive safely!
